Magic: Rise of the Eldrazi (ROE)

Magic: Rise of the Eldrazi (ROE)

Postby Captain Funbags » March 3rd, 2010, 2:41 pm

I think it is somewhat retarded that a playset of the only spoiled card from the upcoming MTG set is already selling on ebay for $55, with time left to bid, and another auction for the same four cards is already at $70. Whoever is buying these cards is going to be upset when the price drops to $20 a playset after release. Kozilek is silly, but 1) he's expensive to cast, 2) you only draw four when you cast him, not from other enter the battlefield effects like Polymorph or Rise from the Grave, and 3) he dies to Doom Blade, Path to Exile, Terminate, etc.

In other news, the Annihilator mechanic is ridiculous.

This has been speculated about for quite a while. I think most people believe there will be a new Sarkhan (possibly U/R) and another new Walker (Giddeon or something, from one of the books).

Sarkhan The Mad is truly a Mad card. Great in aggro decks it seems.

He an interesting new twist on the planeswalker card. People are now speculating that the other one Giddeon (I think) might have all + abilities.

Yeah, I saw that after I'd posted my previous message. Apparently the speculation was wrong.
