FNM: Shadowmoor Booster Draft

Hey, hey! Only 2 months until the release of Shadowmoor. You all might enjoy parts of Mark Rosewater's column at the Wizards of the Coast website, he is the lead developer of the Lorwyn and Shadowmoor blocks. P-Chan, you might be interested to know that Shadowmoor will be a "darker" and "twisted" opposite of Lorwyn, as Rosewater states. Here's a fun quote, which gets me excited:

Anyway, I am fine with an all Shadowmoor draft, then a 2 Shadowmoor 1 Eventide draft in July. Someone has to end the reign of Grand Admiral McBullshit, and I plan to be the guy drinking that shot of Grey Goose! Here is the link to the column, see you kids on Friday.

Cherrybomb = 2.5:1

As you can see, results from the Lorwyn draft have moved playes around! While TAT's odds didn't change dramatically, his position dropped to last. TAT will need to do some strong research at the prerelease combine on April 19th and 20th to make good draft choices in this next season. JDubbs should be strong again, but without key veterans in his line-up, like lifelink assholes Changeling Heroand Brion Stoutarm, he may have difficulties repeating. Look for Cherrybomb to have an aggressive draft, but don't rule out the quiet guy - PChan is capable of surprising the league, and McLovin was last season's league leader in playing annoying cards thanks to Release the Ants. Not much to say about the Captain, he gambled on islandwalk last season and only had mediocre results. All of us here at ESPN are looking forward to pre-season trash talk, which has already commenced!
